TATE MODERN

Located in London, Tate Modern is one of the largest museums of modern and contemporary art in the world. It is Britain’s national gallery of international modern art, holding the national collection of British art from 1900 to the present day as well as international modern and contemporary art.

The museum’s vast turbine hall has been host to many famous pieces of art including, Abraham Cruzvillegas’ “Empty Lots” - beds of soil collected from around London. Along with fellow collaborator Richard Reynolds, Subversive Gardener team up with friends and gallery visitors to seed bomb the installation and show how human interaction with soil can reveal its true potential.
